Pizza, pasta, gelato, oh my!
Check out my vlog from Sicily – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbIESGdnt2A
In this video, I put together a little compilation of some of the food I ate while I was travelling as a vegan in Italy!
I went to Catania, Palermo, Florence, Cinque Terre and Milan – each city quite different from one another and each city with their unique vegan foods.
Thumbs up this video if you’d like more travel food videos π
Restaurants and places mentioned –
Eat Pizzeria – Catania
Gelateria dei Neri – Florence
Ristorante Barone – Florence
Gelateria della Musica – Milan
Doesn't miso soup have fish powder in it?
Iβm glad you recorded all this, as Iβm living in Italy currently, and although you went to all of the bigger cities far away from where I am, I know now where to go for good eats.
droool yum
You guys are so cute!
I'm seeing this so late but I'm laughing at all the comments trying to prove what shes eating isnt vegan wtf ahhaahhah of course she asked them if theres dairy in it..
0:05 1:57 6:41 Ice cream involves milk/milk products -> not vegan (unless its specific vegan ice cream)
0:50 3:27 Pasta asciutta is made with eggs -> not vegan (unless its made out of potatoes like gnocchi or specificly vegan)
3:03 U sure there are no eggs or milk in there? most versions of pudding (or budino in italian) do involve that
3:33 If its specificly vegan ok – usually made with eggs.
4:31 Not sure if its seafood (calamari) or pink pasta. Either way (unless its specificly described as such) not vegan.
7:03 NO! Lattosio is milk sugar – it does not say that its milkfree (alias vegan)
7:27 Pistacchio pronounced wrong
cheap and lazy is not something id like to describe myself as
Italy is so awesome for veganism I loved it
when I was little we lived in Italy for 3 years.. I miss there food, and culture… it's been about 20 some years since I 've been there. but I miss it allot.. I was like 7 when I went. my family was military so we were stationed in Naples.
Gelato senza lattosio means lactose free ice cream and not necessarily dairy free ice cream
Where did you hike?
You are both so lovely and adorable! And thank you so much for being vegan! !!! I have been vegan since 2009. Best decision of my life. That vegan food in Italy looked absolutely delicious. Such vibrant colors, and not boring at all. Great to know one can eat very well as a vegan in Italia!
Love this video! π I'll be heading to Italy soon so this was very helpful <3 Thanks for this!
