The Vatican has never been free from crime
i want to take a folding bike to Rome and tour the city. Are the streets and bike pathways pretty smooth or do the cobblestone streets give a rough ride to the cyclists? I want to bike the Via Appia Antica. Thank you
Hi! Thanks so much for your very informative and entertaining vlogs. My husband and I are going on a Mediterranean cruise this September. It stops in Rome and so we will need to stay in a hotel in Rome for a few days and on to Venice. We’d like to know good hotels where we can stay in Rome and Venice, which are in the city center. Thank you so very much. Your vlogs help us gain more confidence in arranging our tour, so that we could enjoy the trip much better. Bless you and your beautiful family!!

Hold on to your wallet when you get in and out of a subway. That's when they make an attempt to pick your pocket. Don't put your wallet in your back pocket. They know Tourists have cash.
Hello, I’d just like to ask 1) do I need a converter for plugging in my electronics 2) is there a pocket WiFi for rent. Thank you!
1.5 days in Rome, what do you recommend?
great video! so from Rome to Venice what should I take and if by train what times are the trains to Venice ?
Good video!
The catacombs are awesome! I'd definitely recommend seeing at least one of them! Also the Scavi tour, where you go under St Peter's Basilica and walk through the ancient necropolis upon which the Vatican is built (but you do need to book months in advance!)
I'll be travelling to Rome in a few months. I may have to take a taxi or car service to at least one place. Would you recommend a taxi or uber for a solo traveller?
Great video Mark! How about a video on your favorite places to eat , near the pantheon area and other commonly visited areas…thanks!!
Thank you for this video! Going on my honeymoon to Amalfi Coast, Rome, and Milan so this helped for the Rome part of our trip! Haha
We were there for 1 full day and we highly recommend the Segway tour. We would have never been able to see all that we saw in 2 days. 4 hour tour was like 70 US prepaid and our tour guide Roger was amazing!
Great content as always Mark. I'm a big fan of your channel and planning a trip to either Rome or Paris (still trying to decide) for this year . Is May a good time visit Rome? I'm concerned about the weather. I would like to go when the weather is pleasant.
Don't even try any restaurants just in front of those Roman tourists site except Castel Sant'Angelo, they overcharged and possibly not cooked by Italian, and the quality is absolutely shit.
Try smaller restaurants away from those place or even smaller alleys, they are much much better.
Italian pasta, pizza, steaks cannot be shitty, except in those place.
Late November/Early December was perfect a bit chilly for the locals at times but being from Wisconsin it was amazing!
going to rome soon – thanks for the tips!
