Do you have to validate a ticket you print from home?
Some trains are to old to be rolling on the tracks. Traveling by train from Lago Como to Milan was a frigthning experience …Thank God we made to Milan' train station.
I and my family and tour group had a bad experience traveling to Italy. Every single Italian hates you if you are a tourists. Every single one. Also every single cashier will try to cheat you of your change. Even in the Rome airport in the Duty free, some tall blond tried it on my wife. So many pick pockets, so many rude Italians. The ruins are great, the buildings are fantastic, the pizza not so good, the spegetti not so good. When I got on the airplane to leave Italy two weeks later, I was so happy to get the hell out of there. Terrible troll people the Italians. Even the French were less rude to me…not much, but noticeably less. Be warned, Italians hate tourists. By the way, traveling on the train you are guaranteed to witness several pickpockets and stealing of luggage.
Your video doesn't cover how to board right , so you are in the correct class.

How would you get the "real" ticket when you book it online? Should it be retrieved it in station or ?
I travel by Amtrak train in the U.S. When I travel long distance & will be riding Amtrak more often in the future when I'm in Southern California. If I traveled frequently to Japan, The European countries, South Korea, Taiwan I would be traveling by train once I'm there. Traveling by train is a great way to see many countries, is a very relaxing way to travel.
He's also confusing metro (subway) systems with intercity trains.
This is so very helpful. Thank you.
"it could be a bit confusing"…. right, especially if you contribute to the idea of confusion by showing an unintelligible portion of Venice's waterbus timetable (0:23) that has nothing to do with trains.
Trains timetables into railway stations are absolutely clear (Destination – departure hr – platform nr) except for retarded.
Doesn't make sense to validate tickets before getting in a train and if you don't do it, you'll pay 50 Euro! Why must it be validated when conductors are in the train checking the tickets anyway? Ridiculous system.
Go to Italy at your own risk. The trains are dirty, the conductors rude,
the police cruel and the people are harsh, not to mention they all speak
to you in italian and will not offer any advice to you.Pathetic railway
and trains.Never again
Ari Marini sjrio preto não alugue carro viaje de trem pela Itália uma viagem sem igual à 250km por hora adorei
rode all over Italy by rail in 2005, had a great time..If had not been for the train would never have stayed in stresa.

Some info is inaccurate. The "Freccia" trains do have second class as well as business class and first class.
Tabacchi is pronouced tah-BAH-kee.
If you're giving instructions that include foreign words, it's helpful if you use the correct pronunciations.
While riding on the train, check out humorous fiction: CONFESSOR JOE (BOOKS 1-3) Amazon.com.
