I have always thought that the most beautiful part of the trilogy was the Pines of Rome, but after so long I have changed my mind. This is the best.
This is a stunning performance and recording which is ruined by the 'jumps' in the upload with the 3 CD cues. Even so, many thanks for allowing us to hear it.
This is my band director's favorite piece of music…
