Thank you! Nobody ever remembers about Torino! My beloved home town โค There's so much to see! So many museums! So many monuments! The city centre is gorgeous (I would recommend visiting it during the week days and in the morning for the minimum level of crowd). Ciao!

I know it's been a while since you posted this video (I just found your channel thanks to YouTube's algorithms :P), but I did want to share my love for my favorite places in Italy! I've been a few times, and these are the favorite places I've been in no particular order other than #1: 1. Norcia (Valnerina) and Castelluccio (Sibillini Mountains) in the Umbria-Marche Apennines. Lots of good hiking and biking trails, famous for truffles/boar/lentils, and has stunning landscapes! Try the tagliatelle al tartufo, zuppa di lenticche, or ragu di cinghiale if you go! I'm pretty biased on this one. My mother's family is from this area, and I did part of my university field geology capstone course here (also in places 2, 4, and 6). But it's definitely worth the visit! 2. Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, and other hill towns of Umbria. They have some amazing architecture and food! 3. Montefalco and the surrounding countryside. It's Umbria's most well known wine growing region, famous for Sagrantino di Montefalco red wine, but without as many tourists as in Tuscany! 4. Alpi Apuane/Garfagnana in northern Tuscany/near Carrara. Most of the white marble used in Tuscany, most famously Michalangelo's David, comes from this region. It's another place with great landscapes and hiking! 5. Isle of Elba; where Napoleon was exiled to. It also has amazing landscapes! 6. Marche countryside, again amazing landscapes. But also great food and wine. Verdicchio wine comes from the area near Jesi; which is an area of rolling hills and hilltop towns, and is one of my favorite white wines. The Genga/San Vittore area is beautiful and also has the amazing Frasassi Caves to check out! 7. Florence 8. Rome/Vatican City 9. Tuscany's countryside (Monteriggioni is where I stayed) 10. Amalfi Coast/Sorrento I've not yet been to Torino, Verona, or Venice, but they are all at the top of my list of places to check out. Others mentioned southern Italy, and in that part I really want to check out Palermo and Mount Etna in Sicily, the Puglia and Calabria regions, and the home of pizza, Napoli!

Rome was incredible!!!! I went in late June and the heat and tourist was a little bit overwhelming. I'd recommend going in the spring or the fall for a cooler and less busy environment. You should check out places in the Abruzzo region! So much lesser known but absolutely gorgeous with no tourists!!! ๐

I and my family and tour group had a bad experience traveling to Italy. Every single Italian hates you if you are a tourists. Every single one. Also every single cashier will try to cheat you of your change. Even in the Rome airport in the Duty free, some tall blond tried it on my wife. So many pick pockets, so many rude Italians. The ruins are great, the buildings are fantastic, the pizza not so good, the spegetti not so good. When I got on the airplane to leave Italy two weeks later, I was so happy to get the hell out of there. Terrible troll people the Italians. Even the French were less rude to me…not much, but noticeably less.
