Matera is a beautiful city in southern italy, and it definitely one of Italy’s best kept secrets!
Matera is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, having been inhabited since the 10th millennium BC. Its historical center (called Sassi) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Matera will be the European capital of culture in 2019, so make sure that you go visit before then! There is no doubt that it will be overrun with tourists, but for 2018 it will still be relatively quiet =)

That little alley along with the scooter to boot! The cave life looks so cool not just because it's come so far but because they kept their culture and heritage which I think is commendable by itself alone. Awesome job as usual. Keep us informed, keep us loving!
