I used scottscheapflights, got my ticket from Texas for 550 bucks. Is a subscription, they send you flight deal emails.
Have to keep your eyes open for airline deals. This February we're headed from LAX-FCO (Rome) for $500 R/T (including the fees for advance seat selection). Swiss Air LAX-FCO with a connection in ZHR.
We went to Coop to get small groceries and make sandwiches for the day… I did cringe when you said taglio. The g is silent.
We went to Rome, Florence, Venice, Sorrento and Palermo in our two week honeymoon. Florence was second for us with Sorrento taking top spot.
