Dream of Italy: Full Tuscany Episode (VIDEO)
The first episode of Dream of Italy (new PBS travel series) starts in the heart of Tuscany – Chianti – with a visit to Castello di Ama to learn how true Chianti Classico wine is produced and see the modern art that makes up the estate. The area is also famous for olive oil and we visit Pornanino to take part in the olive harvest. Nearby host Kathy McCabe meets the very special cashmere goats that Nora Kravis raises at Chianti Cashmere Farm. Then it is off to Panzano for a wild boar hunt with the La Squadra Chiantigiana and a visit with philosophical butcher Dario Cecchini. At Busatti in Anghiari, we watch 100-year-old looms craft fine fabrics. The episode ends on the captivating coast of Tuscany in Maremma with a stunning ride with the butteri (cowboys). What I would do to be able to live in Tuscany
You're insulting other people and places when you say that there is nothing like it anywhere, you know what I mean? And that's disrespectful. This planet is beautiful. And pizza and pasta are not much of a food. Plus the people are snobs, full of themselves and they don't like other people; everybody knows that Italians are among the most racist people on this Earth, which is funny to me personally because they always have to fake the fact that they are not racists, but anyway. So this video is quite disrespectful to other countries, cultures, people. And just so you know, the vegetation and fauna on this Earth is different, so no, Italy does not have it all, just like Thailand does not have maybe what italy does. Because the Earth is not created the same. There are things over here that might not be over there, and to a certain extent that's how this Earth is. NOT, the same. Which is pretty beautiful in my opinion. For example the tomato was brought into Europe from Peru in the 15th century, but somehow the world thinks that the Italians are geniuses for using it that much. So what I'm saying, is that there are other people in this world, beautiful places in this world, you should hold them in regard and have respect for them.

Love to learn about Italy! Thank you for this amazing show/series! I try to learn all I can about the wine, food, buildings, and countrysides. Seriously, all of the wonderful pasta, wine, cheese, bread and olive oil that I see in all the Italian show are just so inspiring! I am definitely dreaming of Italy.
