Bova, a Greek enclave in Calabria (VIDEO)
Here in Bova, everything is Greek: the style of the houses, nameplates, and signposts. This is the capital of Greek culture in Calabria. The pride of the village, with just five hundred souls and which looks out towards Sicily and the snow-capped Mount Etna, is the palaeontology museum. Not to be missed is the lestopitta, a flat bread fried in olive oil.

Ok this is amazing….The old man in the beginning spoke like a cypriot! Cyprus uses the ''je(tze)'' and means ''and'' while Greeks use the ''ke''. Also as I saw from other videos, Cypriots say ''tutti'' or ''tutto'' to say ''them'' or ''that'' (like italians from calabria do?) while Greeks use ''afto''. One more awesome fact…Cyprus also has a mountain that's called ''Pentadahtylos'' like the one in the video. In greek it literally means ''Five Fingers''.

The Greek accent in Calabria is very very similar to how Greek spoken in Cyprus. Must have settle there around the same time Greeks settled in Cyprus. Around 1500-1800 BC
