Melody shares survival tips such as buying tickets online, wearing comfortable shoes, and paying for gelato at the register.
Highlights
🇻🇦 The Vatican is a must-see attraction in Rome, featuring St. Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Museum.
🏰 The Borghese Palace is an iconic palace built in the 17th century that now serves as the Spanish embassy.
🌉 The Piazza del Popolo is a square that houses an ancient Roman gate, the Porta del Popolo, and an Egyptian obelisk of Ramses the second.
🏛️ The Piazza Navona is a famous square with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, featuring the Baroque Roman architecture by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
🍦 The gelateria della Palma offers 150 flavors of gelato and requires buying tickets at the register before selecting the flavors.
💻 It is recommended to buy tickets online to skip the queues.
👟 It is advised to wear comfortable shoes when touring Rome.
Just an FYI but avoid gelato or anything with giant English signs and menus – they are for tourist and overpriced

Its beautiful that u want to make the most of what u saw during ur trip in Rome, but please make sure, when u talk about a city thats not urs, that u actually talk about the main places… like the Colosseo, circo massimo, campo de fiori, pantheon … just to name a few. And U talk about gelateria della palma, which is far from being good…. 🙂
Thank you so much for this video!! I am traveling to Rome by myself and this video made me have more direction on where to go and what to do (-:
Basilica means basilica. Chiesa means church.
Thank you for the video. We are going to Rome this summer and only have 3 full days to explore. This was very helpful.

well, perhaps a bit more background: santa maria del popolo has two great Caravaggios and was even visited by Luther before he converted. Also Bernini, etc etc.
Were they weird about people of color visiting?
My family and I are going in the spring 2019. Great vid!

Kinda incomplete I can say, you didn't even mention Colossuem or Fonta Di Trevi or the Ancient Rome Forum or the Palatine Hill.
Sorry but that's not a Rome travel guide.
I’m currently reading the book As the Romans Do and piazza has been mentioned several times. Thanks for the clarification.
