It's kinda hard not to eat near a tourist spot in Rome. Because tourist spots are everywhere. Roman food sucked!!! And in Paris the bread was always hard. The only times i had good food, I had to shell out big bucks. I'm not impressed.

Get a book with some translations. Americans Yelling loud will not make them understand. 2 year ago. My partner and I were standing in From of A Church waiting for a light and this American couple came running up to us yelling stop thank god we found you. We said what why, both she and her husband said no one speaks English here .I said Its Italy there Italian they said yes but no English it is not right. We asked where they were from they Said Texas. I sadi I have been to Texas never saw a menu in Italian. They then said we can not find the Coliseum we were in Front Of Mary Magli oiri Church and said do you have a map they said no I said thats i´t 2 streets down. In closing how do you get around we told them we speak Spanish French and Italian you can get a book strain yourself grin!

Eye on the pocket when you use the metro in Rome. Pickpocketers are really skilled motherfuckers. I'm Roman and i see thousand of tourist trying to call police or chase these bastards but it was always too late.

When I was in Rome I had two of my friends dress up in suits and sunglasses and walk behind me so people don’t try to pick pocket me cause they saw my two friends and thought I was a mob boss or something
