CARBONARAAA
Ok now I know how come the girls are skinny there. They eat one slice, not the whole pizza. Lol
And porchetta?
so hot Martijn Van der Sanden 😉
Tiramisu is not from Rome, It's from Veneto (North-East Italy). Carbonara would have fitted better, or Abbacchio.
You forgot. La porchetta. Noi siamo molto famossi. Saluti da roma
I’ve been salivating throughout this video – I now need to clean my iPad
Maritozzo wtf…. Put it through my veins!
please mention areas and restaurant names its so difficult to hunt them as we are not locals.
the best pitsa ive had was in rome, with so rich delicious topings.it was cold and raini day and then that delicious pitsa besides vatikan wall. its as good pitsa probably in all places in rome
it was suprising to eat a chokolate bakeri for breakfast but it was so delicious:)
No carbonara? That's an oversight.
Anyone knows what is the song at 2:30?
Coda alla vaccinara – distinctly Roma. Saltimbocca alla Romana – distinctly Roma. Tiramisù is from FVG and not Roma. Bignè di San Giuseppe as a desert is distinctly Roma. Gelato you can get anywhere in Italia. Porchetta di Ariccia is famous regionally (Lazio). There are many, many other great regional specialties in Roma and Lazio. Google this: "cibi famosi di roma", click on More Items and of course, for the Mangiacakes, use Google Translate to English. Pizza from Napoli is much, much better than that from Roma – scusa Roma, ma anche tu lo sai…
Cacio e Pepe Cacio e Pepe Cacio e Pepe and for dessert Cacio e Pepe
But yes, I ate all but a couple of the mentioned items (artichokes weren’t in season) and every one of them delicious!
The most Roman pasta is not even mentioned! Carbonara! Amatrice is not even close to Rome where amatriciana comes from!
I missing so much the campo de’ fiori……magical…..la dolce farniente…..💗
1. Maritozzo is not a typical italian breakfast. Have a caffè and cornetto. Or pane burro e marmellata… instead.
2. Fiore di zucca — zucchini fried yes its roman — yet fritto di baccalà ( fried codfish ) is more famous
3. Pizza al taglio in any forno. ( usually forno sells bread and similitarities) what is very typical is PIZZA BIANCA… SIMPLE PLAIN WHITE PIZZA. Uwont find it in Naples nor in Milan. Not this thin romanish type. For ex in Genova is thicker and with olives..
4. Pasta all'Amatriciana is not originally from Roma. Its from Amatrice — of course 🙂
Go to la trattoria " vecchia roma" in via Ferruccio… near termini station… and try ANY pasta dish… Amatriciana flambé in pecorino … cacio e pepe… carbonara…U will thank me!
5. Supplì… yes this is roman!
6. Best pizza al taglio ( pizza by slice)… la boccaccia in trastevere!
Can you list some of the restaurants that aren't tourist traps?
Arancini (Breaded Fried Risotto Ball filled with ragú and cheese) is Sicilian and Roman too?
Names of places??)
