Add Santa Maria del Popolo and it's 2 Carravaggio paintings plus the Bernini statues … free
The Basilica near Piazza Navonna (which is also free with it's Bernini fountains) which houses I believe 3 more original Carravaggio's … free
The parks … including Borghese … free
The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain … free
Water at potable fountains … free
A walk along the Tiber and through Trastevere … free.

Just returned from a 10-days-9-nights stay in Rome and I absolutely agree with your recommendation of Santa Maria dell'Anima. It wasn't even listed in my tourist guide, but it was sooo beautiful. There were so many intruiging details that I hardly knew where to look first. So thank you very much for pointing me towards this church.

Somewhat off topic but can you suggest any good restaurants in Rome? I will be there in November and looking for the ultimate culinary experience while staying in Rome. Nothing too touristy though… Looking for restaurants the locals enjoy. "When in Rome…" as they say 😉 Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks

We didn't think Rome was any where as expensive as Paris; where we had previously traveled. It was amazing. We can't wait to go back!
