I went to Florence on the 17th so it's so cool to see a video of places that I also just went to! I didn't go into the duomo either because I had just bought a cappuccino 😂 and refused to throw it out lol, my husband went and it was really plain inside, apparently they went over budget on the outside so the inside is pretty bare. We had gone to the Vatican prior to Florence so after that I just wanted to appreciate the view. I'm so jealous you got to see the David! We did a guided day tour of Florence and went to get tickets and see it during our free time but it was sold out. Instead we went to the San Lorenzo market. I loved Florence it was beautiful and a nice break from Rome. I miss it so much already lol.
